About
The Country School Summer Camp includes activities in science, art, music, movement, language arts, math concepts, mindfulness, Spanish, yoga, creative movement, ballet, gymnastics, and sports. The program uses a “whole child” curriculum that integrates wellness, academics, creative arts, and life building skills, with play-based learning and structured activities organized through monthly themes. Class sizes are small, and each class is taught by an experienced teacher and a teaching assistant, with time for small and large group socialization activities as well as direct class instruction and one-on-one support.

The staff is described as highly qualified, focusing on meeting individual campers’ needs, nurturing new friendships, and implementing a strong sense of self and community, with programs in science, mindfulness, Spanish, music, yoga, creative movement, ballet, gymnastics, and sports taught by qualified and certified professionals.
Parents have shared that “The teachers and staff are so caring and attentive, and our daughter has loved it for preschool and for camp every summer,” and that “The staff is so highly trained, and amazingly warm and gentle with the children,” with one parent noting they have had children in the programs for over five years and plan to continue until their children age out.
